What have you done?
Got the engine setup to run the pan and shovel head, rebuilt the trans with all the Jim’s and Andrew’s parts, had a set of bars bent up, velvet and leather cobra seat, mocked up the bike in a spare set of wheels, internal throttle.
Hex headlight mount, passenger peg bracket, neck cups and fender mounts. 1 1/4” stainless flat sissy bar.
What do you have left to do?
Finish welding, body, paint, wiring, plumbing get the 5 spoke invaders wrapped in new rubber. Pretty much everything.
Any problems so far?
Letting my A.D.D. kick in and decide to scrap the square bike idea to do a totally different bike mid competition. Taking photos, I’m a shit photographer so that’s been pretty challenging.
Favorite part of the bike so far?
I don’t think I have a favorite part in particular, I think it’s more of how each part flows with the lines of the bike.
Favorite part of the competition?
The camaraderie of the initial 24 builders for sure. From helping each other out with tips, tricks, part numbers, and parts it definitely makes for a good atmosphere.
